The exhilaration of Counter-Strike 2's sudden appearance in everyone's Steam libraries is starting to fade for some, as they discover how much content from CS:GO has vanished with no replacement in the new game. That content includes various maps, the Danger Zone battle royale mode, and 'War Games' game modes like Arms Race, Demolition, and Flying Scoutsman.
The assumption that all this will be replaced is widespread, as is the rather presumptive response 'come on, no one cared about that stuff anyway', but neither changes the fact that Feathers Are Ruffled.
(Speaking for myself, it's been many years since I played CS:GO, but I had the 'Head Shred Redemption' achievement - for killing five enemy players with headshots in one round - in my Steam profile showcase, I was proud of it, but it's gone now because CS:GO doesn't exist. I am, really quite mildly, sad.)
