A live-action Cyberpunk 2077 project is in the works.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was a nice take on the franchise and being anime allowed it to go wild, but this gritty live action (series?) sounds amazing!

The team making this (I'm going to go with) series was also behind Mr. Robot ✅, True Detective ✅, The Revenant ✅, and Spotlight ❓, so they definitely won't be pulling their punches.

So will we see Keanu Reeves reprise his role as Johnny Silverhand? Was Idris Elba's inclusion in the game a sign of his future involvement in the show?

Either way I am all in on this, so let's hope they come with some details soon!

Fingers crossed they do better with the launch of this show(?) than they did launch of the game… 👀

Jokes aside, the studio and potential actors involved are all incredible and this is something I will binge watch if it ever comes to fruition.

There is so much potential in the franchise, and I hope they continue to improve it (which they seem to be doing).

If nothing else, the world is one I just want to spend more time in. Just driving around, radio blaring, getting into random encounters - it's everything that is right with GTA but it just needs a little more depth.

I was lucky to not really experience many issues at launch, apart from the road being transparent at one point!

Maybe we need to start watch-a-long discussions for game-based shows - Witcher and Castlevania spring to mind!

I'd be all for watch-a-long discussions for game-based shows.

'Castlevania - Lord of Shadows' is one of my all time favourite games and I've had the show on my watchlist for a while.

Witcher 3 is obviously a standout and with the current questions around whether or not the Netflix show will be renewing there could be potential for lots of discussion there! :)

Well you're in luck! Not only is the Castlevania show an amazing short series, but they released a new tie-in series last week and have already confirmed a season two!
