This one's a bit of an experiment; a bit of fun for the holidays. We'd like you to write a new gaming-themed verse (or verses) following the form of the popular carol 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'. We're sure you already know what we mean, but for the avoidance of doubt, we're after a two-line verse specifying a day of Christmas and a gaming-themed gift from your true love. Just as an example:
On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me...

We're sure you can do better. Feel free to submit more than one verse or indeed a whole song, it's up to you. The idea is that we'll pick the best submissions and write our own gaming-themed version, counting down from 12, right here on JAVG. There will then be a follow-up bounty with a larger prize for - and you might have guessed this already - the best recording of our crowdsourced song.
