Classic RTS gaming at its finest is back!

Actually buzzing! Look what arrived today! I cannot wait to jump back into these classic #commandandconquer games! Now I have these on pc and loved them back in the day, but being able to chill in the living room playing amazing #RTS games like this on the big TV is the vibe I am after right now! Especially as these gems are backwards compatible and can be played on Xbox one and Xbox series consoles! Did you play Command & Conquer!? Which of these would you be playing first!?

Ps we need a new C&C game that’s truthful to the original games gameplay please!

ps I just love the green Xbox 360 game cases!

Add 'Tempest Rising' to your wishlist – it's shaping up to be the closest thing to Command & Conquer that I've seen. The developers are deeply passionate and are striving to integrate all the cherished C&C features that the community loves

I Duno if you ever played supreme commander back in the day but I loved that also and there’s a new game being made which looks like a modern version of that, check it out on steam too - Sanctuary: Shattered Sun

This is the third PC game I ever played, Red Alert. I loved the Mammoth tank and I loved playing this online when EA introduced it, of course playing this on dial-up, led to god knows how many DCs from games.

Then you had the cheaters who used the Iron Tank Plate online, I hated that, but I was super happy when they dropped the map editor, I made so many call maps for this I would play against AI, I once made a map which was 4 islands, connected by narrows paths, that was fun.

awww amazing times! It’s funny how the C&C games and I guess RTS games fell away, as I remember everything a new game in the series launched it was huge and thee game to get! I’d love for it to make a comeback!

Red Alert, in my opinion, is one of the greatest games ever made. It's just outstanding and it's a game I still regularly play.

aww wow thanks for sharing i had never seen or heard of this! Whats the story behind it was this meant to be a reboot of C&C using free to play model? What year was this? Also what happened as the code your playing looks really good, i thought the community might have tried to keep this alive somehow?

It was being developed by EA as a free to play multiplayer focused title. It was effectively a reboot. The year was 2013. Sadly they pulled the plug on it as it was shaping up quite nicely. I enjoyed it at least. Hardly anyone took video of it at the time, I am glad I did this for historical reasons :)
