What are people's thoughts on the the new season now the servers have gone live after yesterday's technical issues?
I'm not too keen on the battlepass content or skins this time. Everyone has different tastes but it's probably the least interesting one I have seen for me. Only 2 of 3 items I the whole thing that interest me (other than the vbucks).
The map updates seem decent enough although the big new area with the green water to me gives off more of a horror/Halloween vibe than myths and mortals.
The gameplay/weapon/item updates seem like a significant change to last season. The medallions now act a bit like augments did from chapter 4.
The Icarus wings are really good, last a long time and you can basically fly across a good portion of the map. Really alters how the game plays out. Great mobility item.
There are also a good range of overpowered and fun mythic weapons you can get off defeating the bosses. Looks like this season is aiming for fun and silliness over balance and a fair competitive fight. I do prefer seasons like this one so it should be a good one!
