Posted this in the main community but wanted to put it in here as well. The discourse around this game today everywhere has been all about the optional real money transactions and the poor performance.
But look at this that played out for me tonight! The absolute chaos just trying to travel back home after completing a quest. I didn’t know what to do or where to run! This is just a 1 minute clip after 5 minutes of total chaos had already playing out! Now I see what they meant about making traversing the map fun and not relying on fast travel to remove boring travelling! I can also see why the CPU takes a hammering with all this playing out unscripted and actions all happening on the fly with all the characters and enemies all interacting and making decisions!
I wasn’t very impressed after my first initial 90 minute play session but wow does it get good once you get settled in! Not played a game quite like this.
