It's a hard one.... every Playstation I ever had was because of Final Fantasy. They even got me to buy a PSP back in the days to play Crisis Core! On one hand I'm happy the games are coming to PC as well and that we have FFXIV available on Xbox so truly anyone can play it regardless of what they are playing on (which is fair for a cross-platform MMO) but I don't like that in a way Final Fantasy is still PS exclusive, because the PC port doesn't come out until a year or so. But because it eventually does come to PC, then people wait for it and then the company complains the game doesn't meet sales expectations. So either keep it PS exclusive, and then you have a clear picture of how many people are actually interested in the game and will also buy the console so they can play it. Or if you want it to be available for more people, then release should be at the same time for all platforms.

yeah im cool with games going to PC, i feel PC and console gaming just isnt the same, console is more casual approach, casual gamer sitting on the sofa chilling out im thniking of, I wonder if when there's a delay its sometimes also due to help the development teams out so they only need to optimise for one platform at a time? But i hear ya

That could be the reason. Would be interesting to see for a new Final Fantasy game if PS and PC release is at the same time how the game performs.
