I'm pretty sure the Switch 2 was supposed to be 'announced' in 2024. News outlets have been dragging this out for a very long time along with specs, release games etc.
The only thing really confirmed is that it'll be backwards compatible with Switch games but they didn't say whether it'll include physical cartridges.
Either way nothing is confirmed until Nintendo says so
Looking forward to it. Will buy one at launch for sure if I can get an order in. Just need to find the time to actually play on it!
