My partner and I have been working our way through River City Girls - a beat 'em up with light RPG elements. Comes highly recommended!

Well i tried cooking simulator and oh my got I know how she felt whrn the roles reversed lol. Normally i would stress when she wouldnt do what we needed in a game and just wondered off ( it was always funny). For the first time she was stressing at me XD.
We usually play fighting games cause those are his favorites, however he never let's me win hahahaha. Last time, we played Tekken 8 and believe me, he wipped the floor with me, hahahaha. Need more practice to at least win one.
We don't game so much anymore together, but when we did it a lot, we used to play World Of Warcraft together, I would play a Warrior tank and she would play a Paladin healer, I macro-ed all his attacks/spells, and so she had to only press certain buttons as she liked things simple when gaming.

We started with Diablo 3 when we still lived away from each other so that was our evenings, being on a voice call.
Then moved in, Covid came and I dragged him into FFXIV and we played almost every day since then. We did all the story together him as Warrior and me as Scholar, fairly convenient when you can go into dungeons as tank and healer.
We also raid together, and have a matching bunny couple:
When I played Witcher and FFXVI he was sitting next to me and watching it, commenting if I missed something. We will do the same with Stray, but he will be playing that one. Sadly he doesn't like FFVII so he just helps me with the mini games if I get stuck and want to throw the controller at the screen XD
I haven't a specific type. If a game is good with cooperative, is still playable !
