Does anyone own and Xbox Series S? I would love to know your thoughts on the budget Xbox Series Console, I have 2, one super special one I have yet to open but all will be revealed at some point I'm sure but I do wonder how different things may have been for Xbox hardware sales if they went full on with the budget console approach and say launched a series S and a Series S with a disc drive and forgot about the more powerful hardware for now? I wonder if overall sales would have been higher? As the focus on the most powerful hardware available just doesn't seem to shift hardware units, its all about the games and the value of the system to the user!

Anyways interesting to see they are doubling down on forcing Developers to release versions for the Series X and Series S, which some Devs would like to avoid to to it not being as powerful and therefore more challenging to port some games to. However I think this might be a benefit to Xbox in the long run as i have said ages ago the Series S is almost like there trial run for a portable Xbox with similar power in the future with new hardware allowing such small devices to be so powerful - which means Xbox will have all their games ready to rock on these new systems?
