I’ve been going to cons for years so here are a few selfies I’ve snagged!! The first is from a vampire diaries convention, another from a wrestling convention and the third is from the Telford comic Con!

Hey Shovel, many thanks for entering this bounty! Just a quick note: as set out in the description, we did require images to be submitted via a social media account that you had connected to your Just About profile, as per these instructions. This helps us be more confident that you're the original owner/creator of the pictures, and it's why most of the other entries have their images embedded in a social media post with our 'original' tag around it.

We've made an exception on this occasion as we're confident from your appearances in the images and on your profile avatar that you're the owner/creator, but we won't be able to do this again, so please remember to submit via social media if asked! Thanks 🙂

Ahh no worries, that’s my bad!

Ironically, I have thousands of photos of celebrities and actors, but none of them are selfies. Most of the time, I’m sitting in the photo pit or behind the stage. I’m always too shy to bother people before their show because my empathy tells me their heads are filled with planning their speech.

A video operator captured me taking a photo of Mads.

Not sure how did I manage to go to LFCC in 2014, the year when I moved to the UK, given how I arrived with only £400 in my pocket and took a month to find a job, but it was one of the best experience I had. Had a lovely chat with Dave Prowse while everyone else was queueing up for the GoT stars the he was sitting at his desk with no one waiting. Then had a signing session and a photoshoot with Edward James Olmos and Jamie Bamber.

Also included a very old photo with the "Empire's finest" from one of the Star Wars conventions I helped to organise back in Hungary a lifetime ago.

Although I’m not a fan of the Harry Potter series anymore which I was cosplaying from on the day, I had the best day and Natalia was so so lovely and the second guest I ever met at a Comic-Con

I used to work for a semi-big blog but had to quit since joining the work force but because I had a good relationship with the editor-in-chief, I was able to leverage my position and attend the first RTX London in 2017 as a media representative rather than an attendee. Not only was it free entrance and queue jump to panels but also access to the media room adjacent to the talent green room so I saw loads of on-screen talent wondering behind the scenes and also attend the after party too!

It was the right time to attend, RT was hitting big strides with their Let's Play Family, RWBY still growing with their first fighting game guest spot in BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle which was playable on the show floor, and they revealed gen:lock for the first time.

But the highlight was getting to meet Burnie Burns and Matt Hullum. Two people I really respect for their craft and efforts into building the company. I was able to get a photo with them in the media room but I'm still kicking myself for not getting Burnie's autograph on my lanyard (although there isn't a whole lot of space left to write it!)
