I am reading a book everyone should read called "Why has nobody told me this before" by Dr Julie Smith

It's a psychology and self care book that teaches you about yourself, it teaches you about human behaviour growing up such as why you find it hard to say no to people, feeling responsible for other peoples emotions. Looking for signs of burnout, how to look after yourself

Essentially THIS is what you should have been taught in school. It's a must read for all humans who are impacted by emotions, aka every single human on the whole planet and it is great to promote positive mental wellbeing

Right now, on my currently reading it’s called, Tall, Royal and Grumpy by Nylah Monroe.

It’s definitely morE on the chunkier side with it being on average a 9 hour read, but this is a spicy, contemporary royal romance book with a grumpy prince and a smiley happy go lucky princess.

I honestly really like it so far, I’m about 66% in according to my kindle, it’s taken me a bit longer to complete this one. It’s funny but also has a lot of wholesome moments.

This is a Debut novel for the author and she really has done such a great job. It’s cute, adorable and hot all at the same time.

If your in to your romance novel, give this a Go!

I have just finished reading “Be Useful: Seven Tools For Life” by Arnold Schwarzenegger! And it really is a great read, that feels like a personal conversation with the legendary man himself and a self help book not full of jargon but feels real, raw and honest info to help anyone no matter whaty your doing in your life!

The wisdom, advice and story's shared in the book are invaluable, showcasing Schwarzenegger’s dedication and determination to succeed. It’s obvious that his success is not just from hard work, but from pushing boundaries and giving whatever he does his all.

No matter what goals you are chasing after the seven tools for life are great guides to reaching those targets! This book is a must-read for anyone seeking direction, inspiration, motivation and real world advice for going out in the world and getting what you really desire!

Arnie's writing style makes you feel like he’s sitting across from you, talking to you and if like me you love his voice you will read the book and hear his voice in your head reading the words haha its fab! "GET BUSY"

The guy really is a living legend and weh nyou see the breadth and variety of all the things he has done and succeeded at them all it really makes his words even more impactful!

Bought these before I went on vacation to have something to read on the plane. I'm halfway through the Norse myths one, and I have to say it made the 3 hrs flight feel like 30 mins. I know quite a lot both about Final Fantasy and the Norse mythology, and really enjoying the book so far. There are some references which I figured out myself, but there were some completely new ones, yet upon reading them it was an "OH" moment.

It's been written as spoiler free as possible, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it to someone who haven't played the game yet as characters, locations or items are mentioned, and these can be spoilers. If you played the game though but are not very familiar with Norse or Greek mythology, don't worry, the myth recap and explanation is spot on even for those who are new to it.

There is another book in the making about FFXVI, can't wait to get that one next year.

I've read the Norse Myths version, it's good.

Right now I am reading the colour purple by Alice Walker.

It is a very heavy story (very intense descriptions of child SA, racism and abuse), yet it is very real. I think it will definitely be one of my favourite books by the time I've finished it.

The novel follows two sisters, who both go through some terrible terrible experiences. It's an amazing analysis of the intersections of race and womanhood in America in the early 20th century.

It's a very poignant novel I believe everyone should read! I can't believe it has taken me this long to read it myself!

One of the books that I am currently reading is Self Belief: The Vision (How to Be a Success on Your Own Terms) by Jamal Edwards. This book is about helping to bring your ideas to life, whether it’s a (small or big) business, setting up a YouTube Channel, networking, etc. This book also acts as a bibliography as it gives the reader insight into the life of Jamal Edwards, such as explaining how he set up his own company SBTV and working as a music entrepreneur, and a DJ.

This is a recommended read for those interested in entrepreneurship and networking.

I have recently finished Metro 3034 (audio book).

This is a sequal to Metro 2033.

After nuclear war, the survivors of Moscow live in the metro. Each staition is like a town and there are threats and horrors round every corner. Mutants rule above ground and the metro is split between the "reds" the "fascists" and the nuteral stations.

This second book focuses on a character only seen in the beinning of 2033, Hunter. Hunter, along with an older soldier and a girl they meet must save the metro from a plauge however they each have thier own idea on how to do it.

So the book that i've just finished reading was the 2nd to last volume of a light novel (32nd out of 33). Called Ascendance of a bookworm. The volume's english translation just released a few days ago.

Overall I'm highly satisfied with how the volume goes, the side stories and the epilogue, just like all the previous volumes. The story depicts the MC (Rozemyne)'s hardships from the previous volume and how she would overcome her current situation.

The side stories depicts other characters' thoughts and feelings brought about by being dragged by Rozemyne's situation. Which are all fun to read, it put great perspective on the situation that occured.

Book: A Court Of Thorns And Roses

You are about to be pulled into a world of fantasy. Where seven courts are the rulers of Prythian.  Sarah J. Maas. Pulls you into this adventure of romance, trials, struggles, and war, through an unforgettable tale that has you on the edge of your seat while you go through each book leading you further into the adventure and life of the human Feyre, forced at a young age to learn how to hunt to feed her two sisters and their crippled father who did nothing to help them.

After unknowingly killing a huge wolf in the woods, skinning it along with the deer which would provide food for her family. Feyre was ripped from her existence from her human life and taken to the Spring Court. There she is under the impression of having to live out the rest of her day according to the laws of the Fae. A life for a life. For the wolf was no ordinary wolf. He was one of Tamlin’s men. There she would meet Alis the maid who would provide words of wisdom to her along the way. Lucien, is a somewhat trusted friend she makes along the way.

From ensnaring creatures along the way. Meeting the High Lord of the Night Court Rhysand. To being pulled into the struggle with Amarantha, King Hybern’s greatest general, and falling into the sadistic games to the fight of her life.

Not only will you cheer and hope for your greatest character; but you might even find a little bit of yourself within the story in dealing with the emotions and struggles of your own life and finding the will to keep going, even on the hard days.

I've been blasting through the Red Rising saga recently, I'm on book number 4 'Iron Gold' atm.

I've been concerned that the next book in the saga is going to ruin it for me, but honestly so far every book has been an absolute banger.

Iron Gold seems to take a similar approach to 'Dune Messiah' (the second Dune book) where it slows down the action and focuses on politics a bit more. It usually means that it's a little slower to read but Iron Gold has introduced multiple perspectives by telling the story from the POV of multiple characters, some of which are in the middle of a war. I think it's a welcomed change, but it's still too early to tell.

Right now, I've set aside all my books except one - a Japanese From Zero! that has been waiting on my bookshelf since 2003. This decision was inspired by several posts from Makster about his hobby. My plan is to finish current intensive projects that I've already started, then free up time to focus on my Japanese studies.

Still finding the time to finish Romancing Mr Bridgerton this month. I wanted to finish it before the second part of season 3 came out but unfortunately life became very busy.

It’s a truly beautiful love story, showing childhood friends blossoming in to so much more than that. Alongside balancing a secret identify among the ton. Finding the changes and references in the show from the book is great fun too!

I love bridgerton! Would you say the books are miles better??

I’m still slowly reading through but I think it definitely depends on which book and which characters you love. There are some big changes from certain books, some definitely for the best

So I just brought Retribution Falls by Chris Wooding

So it's about a captain of Ketty Bay called Darian Frey, he is a gang leader and basically a criminal, I've literally just started so I can't say much more, but it's a good book so far.

I got this one i.e book one by looking about and I love the Waterstones staff, so very knowledgeable.

I just started reading Quicksilver by Callie Hart. I was Influenced by many TikTok recommendations and its high Amazon rating. However, so far, I'm not quite impressed. I'll continue reading, but at this moment, it feels like a mediocre fanfic.

I'll keep an open mind as I progress, hoping it improves.
