I don't have the social media to put it on, but I'll share anyway

Definitely just an amateur mockup, but I've decided I will for sure use the kitty when I commission someone to design the ACTUAL merch. I love the expression on its face lol. I'll be asking for a hockey mask to be pulled up on top of its head and for it to have a blood-drippy kitchen knife held up.

Although not new, my merchandise uses a concept based off my name and mentality. "Beyond Belief", being able to go the extra mile, and have enough confidence in yourself that you can achieve anything you set your mind to. From there I created Team Belief, a community and a selection of creators who share the same vision as me. The logo represents the letters "T & B" from Team Belief, the idea of the pointed edges creates a concept that everyone is own their own unique pathway to success.

So this is something our band has done a few times. We have the standard band name tshirts and long sleeve tshirts.

But we had a few special tshirts made up . We had this running joke about about our band all going onstage in martial arts gi's in honour of dragon sound the greatest martial arts band of the 80's. here is the tshirt and a synth song we made with that image for the video.

As a journalist who frequently attends various conferences and festivals, I've accumulated a diverse collection of merch ranging from pens and lanyards to notebooks and backpacks. This experience has taught me that effective merch should be practical, durable, and reflective of the brand it represents. For example, I've used a branded Fisher Space pen for 15 years due to its durability and practicality - it's made of brass and can last for over a century with just cartridge replacement.

When considering merch for content creators, the challenge lies in production and distribution. While many all-in-one services streamline this process by allowing you to simply upload graphic designs and integrate them into your platform, these often result in generic, disposable products - hoodies, umbrellas, and socks.

To offer something unique and cost-effective, I propose using .STL files for 3D printing. Content creators can design or outsource designs related to their brand (like keychains, phone stands, or decorative items) and distribute these digital files to their audience. This method encourages fans to print the items at home if they own a 3D printer, which are increasingly affordable, or use local print services or print-bars that can even print in materials like wood or metal.

Distributing .STL files for fans to 3D print offers multiple benefits:

  • Cost-Effective Distribution: By sharing a digital file, content creators can avoid the logistics and costs associated with physical shipping.

  • Engagement and Free Advertising: Asking fans to share their printed items on social media acts as free advertising, increasing brand visibility and engagement without direct costs.

  • Enhancing Subscription Value: For creators with Patreon or similar platforms, offering exclusive .STL files can add significant value to subscription tiers, making them more appealing and enhancing subscriber retention.

This approach not only provides fans with a physical item that's both useful and unique but also leverages engagement to boost the creator’s visibility and revenue in innovative ways. It’s a modern solution that fosters a tangible connection between content creators and their audience while promoting sustainability and creativity.
