Mine would have to be Kuya Gian, I was browsing youtube one day on my TV and this guy posted a video about why you should have a youtube channel, A few of the key points he made were that "Your voice is more important than you think", you're not that different to everyone else which is portrayed as a good thing, humans go through similar life experiences. I thought for certain this guy had 200k + subscribers as the advice was so valueable, he only has 10k, I really loved how genuine he was in the video and how honest he was about things he struggles with, it was a very good video which really inspires me to get back into my own youtube channel to be honest!

I love this bounty, there are always such nice recommendations here, even if I'm not interested in the particular game the creator is covering, one glance at their work shows how passionate and dedicated they are.

I could nominate other Final Fantasy creators here as I still have a lot on my list, but decided to go with something different this time. As a streamer who can use Photoshop to make edits and simple things from screenshot, but can't draw for the life of me, I really appreciate all the artists who make pretty, reasonably priced (or even free!) stream assets. I came across Natali on Xitter when one of their giveaways popped up on my feed. Even though I have two FFXIV themed overlay packs already, I'll definitely get some not specific game related stuff from Natalie for when I play other games. Just look at this full screen alert, it looks amazing!

Here is the link to their Ko-fi page, very nice products and the price is perfectly reasonable and affordable even for creators who might not be well off with money yet but want to get some assets:

I'm going to have to give a big shout out to @MURRRAAAAY here.

I've recently found his work through Just About and absolutely love all the hard work and passion he puts into his work. Not solely focussed on his streams on Twitch (every Tuesday and Thursday evenings), he also runs multiple YouTube channels dedicated to different consoles: Nintendo (Tendo) + Sony Playstation (PurePSX) .

I've been loving his engagement with the audience on Twitch and on his Discord making you feel like one of the family, a gaming friend that is here for jokes, laughs, and discussion on the current state of gaming.

I think his best work is one of the latest:

His review of the Playstation Portal. Incredibly informative and perfect for a consumer that is curious about picking this up. Murray makes it look incredibly effortless talking to the camera about the PlayStation Portal and doesn't rely on fancy graphics or bg music to retain our attention

So I found a streamer in the last few weeks after they did some social promo work, which was quite "revealing" hahahaha !! It led to us having a Twitter conversation, follows were exchanged and I then saw a going live tweet. When I got in to their stream, they were Extremely personable, especially as they were playing a game that can sometimes be difficult for keeping on top of chat, Apex Legends ! They made me feel welcomed, interacted with chat really well, keeping us engaged and listened to !

His name is , TheBrophersGrimm and they recently hit 1k on Twitch !

For sure a really good dude and seems to genuinely likes what he does and it shows ! They sell themselves as:

Welcome to The Brophers Grimm and this spicy corner of Twitch. I'm Brophers, a bearded legend of the Battle Royale/FPS genre with some of the most questionable aim you will see.

This past month I have discovered a video game genre called metroidvania and with it new to me content creators.

One such that I think qualifies as up and coming is Metroidvania Guru.

He makes videos on Metroidvania games, anything from play analysis to up and coming to ranking videos. Things I like is that he has a niche, so I know what to expect from his content and that he is making videos without ever showing himself. He has a stylised cartoon version of himself which I like. It’s different. He talks just fast enough that I don’t out his videos on 1.5 speed. :)

I’ve mostly watched his top ten series and the one I got some nice wishlist items from was this one on Top Ten Most Anticipated Metroidvania (that aren’t sequels or prequels).

Discovered this channel "DTSN" which has only 5 videos but an impressive 202 subs just from those 5. The two vids below have come up on my home screen and I was quite impressed with subject of both of them and the sensible mature commentary. Really resonates with me, especially having loads of games install you have yet to start.

This month, I want to highlight some hidden warriors of the gaming industry, who often lack the spotlight in credits, yet their work greatly impacts our gaming experience—I'm talking about soundtrack composers.

Today's hero is Paweł Perepelica, a composer from Armenia. I noticed he was involved in projects like Death Horizon: Reloaded, Stoneshard, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, and more.

The reason I love this composer is his high-quality work that precisely uncovers the right emotions and reinforces the game's moments. His music spans a wide range of genres too, from post-punk to techno , aggressive metal , and of course, epic music.

I can always find something in his playlist, no matter what mood I'm currently in.

I have been watching Komodo's content for a few days when I have time, this video above was epic, a great ambush. This video below, was fun to watch, I love watching supers and Titans going bang, makes me feel less rubbish about mine going down xD

So this month, it's Komodo for me :)

Really liking Ash Millman’s solo stuff!

She used to be at Playstation Access but is now going it alone. She’s started out with a full playthrough of the PS1 classic Silent Hill, giving us a great mixture of humorous narrative (including full Brum-accented dictation of dialogue) and snippets of horror lore/context.

The Silent Hill playthrough is in six parts, but part 1 is here: https://youtu.be/WS15W5_aCpU?si=S3gs-aQ8WEZzvqkp
