As I looked at my recap I was a bit surprised on the new followers number. It might look small, but it actually means I almost doubled my followers this year. Would like it to be more, but I also have to keep goals realistic, I'm working full-time, studying, editing videos for a friend, editing my own videos, and have a partner... So probably reaching Affiliate is not really for me... which is sad because it means I can't monetise my streams apart from Patreon or other tipping services. With that in mind I'm not sure if it's worth putting the effort into streaming. That time might be better spent on editing videos and try to get discovered more and then return to streaming? I have so much to tell and teach about FFXIV, not just for other players but as feedback to the developers as well. But I feel incredibly small in the FFXIV creator community and don't really know how to make my voice heard. I don't care about getting my content monetised from a financial point, I don't rely on this income, but I want to get invited to the next Media Tour, and what I've seen so far it's all down to numbers. So if I want to break that goal down to smaller steps, it feels like growing my channel(d) is the first step, which also translates to get my channels monetised. And I'm nowhere near that. So should I put all my efforts into just one channel (Youtube) or keep trying on multiple platforms with multiple forms of content to try and reach more people?
How does your recap look like? Which numbers are you the most proud of? Any goales you want to set for next year?
