Im not really very far at all, done a few starter side quests from the first little village and then picked up some more at the more substantial place you then reach. So very very early, pretty much just the tutorial/intro I guess.

At the moment I can see it's got the potential to be a really good game but initial impressions just past this tutorial/intro section, I am struggling with the controls and need time to get used to them.

Also I had a quest to gather some items from the forest for someone. I got told to combine some items together to make the one needed but it wasn't made clear what the things were I actually needed to pick up, what they looked like or what I had to combine between all of these items to make what they actually wanted. Also my pawn picked some things up. Does that count or do I have to have them on me? All very confusing.

I'm sounding negative but really I can see the game itself is going to be good when I get used to it all and actually get properly going past this initial part. There is lot to take in from the off. Lots of menus and systems to understand which will take time. It will change once I get the hang of it. Others may just pick it up no problem I'm sure.

My monitor is 1440p and I usually go with dlss quality mode which in most games looks better than native res and an anti aliasing choice.

In this game I thought the graphics looked really bad, and I've realised dlss for some reason is not working well, much worse image quality than normal. Due to the cpu limitations it's also not really giving much performance benefit. It's worth giving it a go at native res instead. Image quality looks much better with no noticeable performance difference, at least at 1440p anyway.

It's almost like the game has it's own system where objects/scenery in the distance is rendered at a lower Res anyway and then dlss on top of that just makes it a mess.
