I am very very close to the "end". Probably be going ahead and proceed through it in my next decent play session (3 hours or so).

I'm in Battahl, although I've explored beyond there because I wanted to unlock

I've just made my first return trip to Vernworth to tick off old missions and do some new ones having had a decent explore of Battahl. I've got a few missions in The Volcanic Isles, but there's a big old door blocking my access right now.

Yesteday managed to complete 5/10 Sphinx's riddles with a hope to tackle the beast before bounty runs out!

Do you know what happens if you fail the one that takes 7 days? Does it just carry on and you don't get the prize? It's definitely been 7 days and I haven't gone back to them yet, but I have no idea where I found my first Seeker's Token anyway

I haven't tested this personally, and given there are no save options, I'm hesitant to experiment. However, your token is likely in the first village where the archer-girl saves you (twice). After waking up and stepping outside, there is a tower with a ballista on top - that's what took down your Gryphon in the initial cutscene. There’s a first 'seeker token' that you could potentially discover, assuming you haven’t skipped exploring and missed it.

If you fail any of the riddles, you can no longer get the Sphinx's ultimate reward:

Not gonna lie, I kind of want that to happen

You can get it by killing it though. It's the only reward I got... It lets you pick one reward/chest.

I am also through the first five, but I have no idea where she flies to next! I know it's in Battahl but that's a very big area, and I'm not looking forward to the next five, because I've heard they are considerably more difficult.

So far I have made it to Battahl and done some side bits, baught a home and stopped an assassination but haven't played in a few days as have not been feeling too well.

Pleased to say I finished this game with the true ending last night, clocking in at 74 hours. I had a really fun time with it. I found some of the quests to be kind of annoying, convoluted or buggy, but the joy of exploration and combat was more than enough to make up for it.

Also I love any game that gives you a stat screen at the end
