Relic Hacking Event Guide

Since the level 0 Sites are just the entrance the loot here is kind of super lucky but to find the first blueprint and some materials it is a good start. The Alternative is which you buy everything from Market.

Scannable Level 0 Site Level: Easy Note: These are the only ones in the wild, means you could get killed here. You also need to scan them down, but they are level 1 so it is very doable.

Every side below will be your 30 Minute private pocket.

Focus everything on relic :) Get an MWD and if you want to be picky a cargo scanner.

Implant wise pick these:

Poteque 'Prospector' Archaeology AC-905 (+5) Poteque 'Prospector' Environmental Analysis EY-1005 (+5)

This will give you around 40 Virus strength. If something is missing you can add a little bit more with the event Drugs. (if you go higher Tier you need at least 45 Attack to only recieve 10 damage instead of 20, see below)

SoCT Relic Strength Booster I (+4) SoCT Relic Strength Booster II (+6) SoCT Relic Strength Booster III (+8)

Optional Comfort Event Drug: SoCT Relic Coherence Booster I-III SoCT Relic Range Booster I-III

Now you are ready to go:

Filament Level 1 Site -> Ruined Electrical Filament Level: Easy

Filament Level 2 Site -> Devastated Electrical Filament  Level: Some Yellow nodes

Filament Level 3 Site -> Annihilated Electrical Filament Level: Some Red Node

If you want deeper Guide for hacking visit:

Try to plan you route from the outside. If you find a Restoration Node kill it. Everything else which comes after will be repaired and makes it just harder. If you find a Suppressor, this also high prio target to remove. On Hard you will get at least 20 damage from the core, remeber this as the minimum health.

If you were good in minesweeper , this is kind of fun mini game.

Ahoy, mateys!

It's your dear Captain Grimoire here to teach ye' all that is needed to know about the exploration side of the Capsuleer Day XXI event!

To begin, I suggest using the Capsuleer Day Exploration fits that I have created over at EVEWorkbench. Each of the Empire Faction Covert Ops ships are represented with a fit to run solely the filaments, while the Astero is set up to run the Relic and Combat sites in space to get starter materials alongside being able to run the filaments.

https://www.eveworkbench.com/u/grimoire-erkkinen

The event is started by running Desolate Collapsed Conduit relic sites that are scannable cosmic signatures or by running the Treacherous Collapsed Conduit combat anomaly. Both of these sites can comfortably be found in Hisec systems and they are relatively easy to complete. Any basic exploration fit should work fine for the relics and I suggest at least a basic destroyer for the combat anomaly. As an experienced pilot, I found that the Astero fit linked on my EVEWorkbench was the best of both worlds for completing as many sites as possible to gather materials.

As you complete Relic and Combat sites, you will begin to find filament blueprints and the materials associated with manufacturing them. For exploration, the "Ruined" filament is the starter filament for the event. Creating a filament and using it will take you to a pocket of Abyssal deadspace that is full of Relic cans to hack. This is where the unique properties of my fittings really shine.

The cargo scanner allows for a pilot to check individual cans for materials and profit without having to hack them. This saves them valuable time, as each pocket will collapse after 30 minutes has elapsed. Running the Sensor Booster increases targeting range, allowing for cans to be scanned at further ranges, meaning that the pilot does not have to move as much to see everything in the room. On the Covert Ops fittings (Astero does not need due to being able to lock 7 targets), the inclusion of an Auto Targeting System allows 3 more locked targets, which is a big help while scanning out a pocket.

Another tip that I have found to be INCREDIBLY helpful is to form a fleet with yourself (right click your portrait in a chat window > Form Fleet With) and then utilizing the tagging feature to mark good and bad cans (I use CTRL + 4 + Click and CTRL +5 + Click for my tags). This keeps things organized and lets the pilot know at a glance which cans are worth taking, which aren't, and which cans have not been scanned.

The event repeats itself in structure all the way to the top difficulty, which is the Annihilated filaments. Scan cans, grab loot, make filaments, repeat. The only that that changes is that the loot is supposed to improve, the cans are more numerous, and the hacks get more difficult at higher difficulties. With the Origin conduit being accessible at any time, I recommend that pilots challenge themselves for better loot and more fun.

Guide to Capsuleer Day XXI Event Abyssal Sites

Event Abyssal sites for Capsuleer Day XXI differ from the regular Abyssal encounters. Here's how to access and navigate these special event sites:

To enter an event Abyssal site, you need one of the following filaments:

  • Sinister Exotic Filament (T1)

  • Vicious Electrical Filament (T2)

  • Disastrous Gamma Filament (T3)

  • Calamitous Firestorm Filament (T4)

These filaments can be purchased from other players on the market or crafted using blueprints and materials from two event-specific sites: the Desolate Collapsed Conduit (hacking) and Treacherous Collapsed Conduit (combat).

Key Rules and Differences:

  • Entry is possible solo or in a duo, but only one filament is required for fleet entry.

  • Filaments can only be activated when piloting one of these 8 T1 cruisers: Omen, Caracal, Thorax, Stabber, Maller, Moa, Vexor, or Rupture.

  • Each Deadspace instance has a strict time limit of 30 minutes.

  • Failure to exit before time expires or destruction in the site results in the loss of both ship and pod.

  • The encounter consists of a single pocket where your objective is to defeat a boss Battleship. Upon its destruction, loot drops into its wreck, and an Origin Conduit unlocks for your exit.

  • Enemies encountered will be either Drifter or Triglavian.

  • The site boundary teleports your ship to the opposite side of the arena instead of causing damage.

  • Environmental factors include two types of clouds: Anti-Tachyon (increases inertia, decreases speed and signature radius) and Tachyon (has opposite effects).

Strategy and Tips:

Upon entry, T1 sites will present a boss battleship accompanied by a frigate with a neutralizing effect. Both pose significant threats, and a T2 medium repper may struggle to withstand the damage.

Prioritize killing the frigate first (approximately 700 HP), then focus on the battleship (about 25k HP in T1). The frigate will respawn in less than a minute, so be prepared to switch targets as needed.

To effectively manage battleship damage, maintain a tight orbit with your Afterburner to keep high transversal speed. Using a Web can help manage the battleship's movement, especially useful given the cloud effects that can disrupt distance and speed tanking.

From T2 onwards, expect additional sentry guns with high Alpha damage. Consider a passive shield tank to survive these encounters. The priority for targeting should be Sentry → Frigate → Battleship.

Fitting Suggestions:

Here's a general fit recommendation for tackling these sites:

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this was entered as a reply rather than a submission so we can't award it. It's very good though, so thank you very much for sharing it!

Three for the price of one. Fantastic. Thank you very much!

Thanks Alex :)

Just want to double check that the bounty prizes were awarded as expected? Looks like I got written submission payout

Haha ok good :D that reduced the likelihood I'm being punished for something!

Neither of you did anything wrong, quite the opposite in fact. This was my error (trying to multitask when it's not my forte), so my apologies to you both. I've spoken with our tech team about it, and they've just manually credited your accounts with the difference between the reward levels. Those should have now gone through, but if they haven't, do let me know 🙏
