Calling all ship builders! Here's a chance to let both your engineering and creative skills shine. We want you to design a new ship for EVE Online, complete with its key features, its bonuses, its name, its faction, and, most importantly, an illustration.
We know that not everyone is a master illustrator, so we're allowing entrants to use AI for the images. However, we want to celebrate skill and effort, so while AI submissions could net entrants $3, those that include hand-illustrated or digitally illustrated ship designs can win $10.
A note on generative AI: While this bounty is just intended as a bit of fun, we recognise that there are complex and ongoing concerns around generative AI, especially surrounding the unauthorised usage of artists' work. We're always open to your opinions about the use of AI, and we've run multiple bounties over at Just About Tech that are great places for that discussion to take place.
