What do you get when you combine 20 years of visual updates with a bounty challenging veteran content creators to make cinematic EVE Online videos? Some pretty impressive footage, as you’re about to discover. As part of 2024’s Equinox expansion, EVE Online’s planets received an extra-special makeover. You can experience that makeover in all its glory in the seven stellar videos below. 

Seven gorgeous ‘planet flyby’ EVE Online videos

Accompanied by a futuristic, genre-bending soundtrack, Rixx Javix's EVE Online video takes viewers on a guided tour of the game’s various planet types. It zooms in and out for a sense of perspective while warping between shattered planets, earth-like planets, and the rest. It’s gorgeous.

While similar on the face of it, Kane Carnifex's planetary tour has an added sense of majesty about it. Between the classical overture and the gorgeous detail upon exiting warp, there’s a lot to love. But we’re particularly fond of the contrast between the daunting crimson gas clouds behind the final planet and the planet’s own verdant greens and blues. The next EVE Online video comes from Nth Dimensional. It’s short and sweet, but gets us right in the mood for a New Eden adventure:

Last but far from least is the EVE Online video ‘Serenity Among the Stars’ from Sturmer, who notes that “there’s a bonus hidden at the end”. It’s neither cutesy or demure, but it’s certainly mindful. Truly, it’s a peaceful, soothing video. So if you’re feeling at all stressed right now, give it a watch and you’ll feel your breathing slow in no time as the cosmos works its magic.
