Crimson Harvest 2024 pits the murderous Blood Raiders against the fanatical Order of St Tetrimon in a bloody feud, and that feud’s grim rewards are up for grabs. Crimson Harvest is New Eden’s spookiest event of the year; it’s also one of its most lucrative and one of our personal favourites. From now until November 5, there are 90% PvP loot drops across New Eden as well as log-in rewards and much more, and to help you snap it all up, we challenged our community of knowledgeable and experienced capsuleers to share Crimson Harvest fits and tips specifically targeted at this year’s activities. Their responses included fits for handling the event sites and fits for hunting other event participants. We’ve turned those responses into this Crimson Harvest 2024 guide, which contains everything you need to paint the galaxy red.
Crimson Harvest 2024 tips and general overview
"Blood! Blood! Blood! Blood! The Crimson Harvest is here, where glory comes to those who hunt and ruin befalls the naïve bystanders. So let's make sure you are on the profitable side of history this year."
That’s the intro to Nth Dimensional's Crimson Harvest 2024 guide, and we couldn’t have put it better ourselves. In the following video, he provides an overview of the event, discusses its activities, describes the rewards on offer, and explains how to find and complete the various combat and data sites.
As well as those explainers, it contains lots of essential Crimson Harvest 2024 tips, like a warning to be extra careful of gankers and other PvPers, who’ll be looking to capitalise on those 90% drops.
Crimson Harvest 2024 fits and tips: hacking guide
Next up, we’d like to point you towards Kane Carnifex's “quick and dirty” site guides, starting with his advice for Crimson Harvest 2024’s hacking sites:
It’s a worthwhile catchup for anyone who’s a bit rusty when it comes to hacking and needs a refresh. It starts by discussing the hacking order before moving onto the route, Tetrimon Network Nodes and Crimson Harvest Network Nodes, before finishing with what can only be described as a hole in one. Once you’ve watched it, you’ll be wanting a Crimson Harvest hacking fit; Kane has provided that too in the form of this hack-ready Buzzard:
Micro Auxiliary Power Core II
Nanofiber Internal Structure II

When you combine the pilots flocking to the sites with the enhanced PvP rewards, you’re bound to get players lying in ambush looking for an easy lunch. LukaZaharin has produced a great tongue-in-cheek cinematic guide for what you should do if you come across a cloaked, camped predator: report them on Local Threat and go somewhere else! At worst, you’ll prevent others from falling into their trap. At best, someone will go and hunt the hunters.
For those unaware, Local Threat is a third-party EVE Online tool used for reporting the location and severity of potential hostiles. If you’d rather become the hunter yourself, we’ve got a Crimson Harvest fit for that later; read on!

Sturmer often likes to do things differently, and his Crimson Harvest fit is the perfect example. “The event focuses on harvesting, but who says you can’t harvest the harvesters?” The fit Sturmer provides is admittedly pricey - “you can always sell it after the event or wait for the Winter Nexus” - but given the event’s drop rates, it could easily pay for itself if handled correctly:
“Find a quiet system – avoid doing this near Jita.
“Ensure there are other runners in the system.
“Head to a combat site where someone is already fighting and start damaging the bosses.
“Your goal is to not deal the most damage (the boss wreck goes to the pilot who deals the most damage).
“Steal the loot, flag yourself, and wait for an angry Marauder to engage.
“Once they attack, point them and take them down.”
You’re bound to find Marauders at the site, and while they’re usually alone, Sturmer says his fit is capable of tanking two at once. He provides the following tactical advice:
“Watch for drone aggro, orbit at 500m, and scoop them up if your opponent targets them, then keep re-deploying them. Maintain damage pressure and attack their capacitors, turning the neutraliser off periodically. Load all four types of torpedoes and see which one deals the most damage.
“If you can’t break their tank, you have two options: Use the MWD to escape and warp off (especially useful if three or four pilots show up), or keep them pinned until downtime and ask for ransom (you can usually negotiate ransom twice – this tactic works).”
And here’s Sturmer’s blinged-up tanked-up Rattlesnake fit ‘Ratty’:
