We're back with a new ship design challenge for you, this time we're asking you for a new design for EVE's largest class of ships: the supercapital. You can choose how you make and present the design: be it blueprint, digital illustration, or even 3D real-world model. We'll award the top prizes to the most high-effort and impressive designs.
While we're primarily interested in seeing what your creations look like, we also would like you to include some other details
the ship name
its key features, bonuses, and unique traits
its faction
any other interesting tidbits
Because of the high-value nature of the prizes and the proliferation of AI-generated imagery, we also ask that you show us an 'in-creation' image of your ship design, i.e. a work in progress shot.
Important: For this reward, we are allowing AI-designed ships, but this comes with three big caveats. If you've used generative AI, you a) must acknowledge this in your submission, b) will not be entitled to any prize higher than $3, and c) will not have your work featured in any curated content created from this reward. Long story short, we prefer human-made creations!
Update for clarity, 18.02: We're primarily looking for artistic visualisations of the ship. The ship's in-game mechanics are secondary. Check out these Elite Dangerous ship designs for inspiration.
