A few weeks ago Horror and Cats shared a poll titled *JA Neurodivergent Roll Call*, with 59% of responses (including mine) self-reporting their neurodiversity. As it happens, March 18 to 24 is Neurodiversity Celebration Week, which aims to:
Challenge “stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences”
“Transform how neurodivergent individuals are perceived and supported”
Create “more inclusive and equitable cultures that celebrate differences and empower every individual”
Our commitment to being an inclusive and welcoming platform will remain, even as our community grows. Not everyone is neurodivergent and it’s experienced differently by those who are, so designing for inclusivity can be a challenge, and it starts with us listening.
We’re inviting you to share any features you’ve found particularly helpful as a neurodivergent person on social platforms. It could be anything from accessibility or customisation features, user interface design, or even particular language that make important information clearer and easier to understand.
How can we design for inclusivity as we continue to grow? Share your experiences in the replies.
