Recently a few of you ( Kane Carnifex Lanah Tyra EveOnlineTutorials ) reached the one-year anniversary of your first bounty win. That time has absolutely flown past and, unless we take a moment to reflect, it’s easy to miss just how far we’ve come as a community. Congratulations to those who’ve been with us long enough to reach this milestone, and to everyone else: we look forward to your milestone posts in the months to come! Oh, and Kane, we’ll be awaiting that JA tattoo!
Community podcast
Lanah Tyra and Rixx Javix launched the first episode of the JA Community Podcast, an amazing initiative made by the community for the community. The first episode is a heartwarming and insightful comparison of two long-running MMOs - EVE Online and Final Fantasy XIV. The JA team was overjoyed to see our various communities coming together on their own to produce something so cool, and we’re looking forward to the next episode already! Have a listen, leave some feedback, and share your requests for future guests and topics.
Bug fixes and optimisations
As mentioned in last week’s Friday update, the tech team is hard at work on a new feature. We won’t spoil anything but we will say it’s coming along nicely! We’ll be adding a new cohort of members to the Discord server ahead of our next round of testing, so leave a comment below if you want to get involved.
Our tech team has also streamlined the number of emails you receive and made it easier to prevent accidental bounty submissions by hiding the submit button when you’re writing a reply.
