The PS5 Pro was always supposed to be a luxury item.

Everyone going off on the internet either needs to realize that the PS5 Pro is not for them, alternatively they need to upgrade their station in life in order to afford it.

After all, not everyone can afford a Ferrari... But everyone can afford a Ford Focus.

This console only reinforces how the “new” generation is a joke and was forced into existence with hardware that wasn't much of a differentiator. They simply forced a new system with a 4k advertisement that is INEXISTENT, they still launch a console with an abusive price and we have to applaud, since the competitor can't do anything decent

Ps5 pro needs the concord treatment to send the message to Sony that this isn’t it.

Shocked... not really. It's a milking business and there will be plenty of people ready to pile up on top of the other, make debts and say "I HAVE IT!".

I think it's fair if someone doesn't have a PS5 and waited for this, they will buy it (not happy with the digital only version though and having to buy a disk drive separately) but I don't think it's worth upgrading if someone already has a PS5.

It's kind of like you have a 4070 would you swap it out to a 4070 TI or a 4080? Difference, yes, but not that much to justify forking out all that money again.

I do think digital is the future but there's still so much value in physical and naming this the Pro to me just feels like it's distracting from the fact that it's a downgrade. But compared to Xbox, this is the equivalent of the Series S, which is great but the pricing is... interesting 😂

a sad excuse for a gaming rig, all consoles, will the ps5 pro run elite dangerous oddysee? not to my knowledge, which is why frontier cut consoles out, they wouldn't cut it, for that money from wholesalers, you could build a high end gaming pc yourself, where i come from anyway, during the scamdemic, i didn't have any shortages of parts, and the prices didn't rise much at all for pc components, but on fox, it was a economic tragedy, some friends in america paid more than my entire pc build for a graphics card, which i bought for $160 au in the middle of the so called crisis, but sony are masters of spin, so people will fall for the alleged "prestige' of owning one, as the saying goes, "a fool and their money are easily parted"
