Hey folks, it’s our favourite time of the week - Member Monday! Join us as we celebrate some of our and your favourite member-led content and submissions from the past week or so. Today’s highlights come from EVE Online, Elite Dangerous, Critter Café, Wobbledogs, and the Just community. EVE Online
There’s something amazing about looking at game worlds in ways the developer never intended, such as slow motion or micro for the small moments, or time lapse and macro for the bigger picture. Kane Carnifex's single-shot submission (below) contrasts the stillness of space with the frenetic energy of hundreds (thousands?) of ships docking and undocking. Special shoutouts go to Limal's cosmic music video and CelestialFlea's ASMR in space.
Elite Dangerous
In Elite Dangerous some commanders thrive in the fight, but Hunter prefers to live a quieter life. With nothing but their limpets and the occasional pirate for company, Hunter earns a tidy living in the far-flung reaches of space.
Critter Café
Despite his spooky display name, horrorandcats’ Critter Café stream is pure chill! If you want to get to know one two of our more prolific members, TheGreatestBanana12's new creator spotlight features the very same horrorandcats and their upcoming charity fundraiser for The Trevor Project.
Wobbledogs
Contrary to popular ad slogans, it’s patience and animal husbandry that gives you wings, not energy drinks! zawn's latest spawn - Charles The 2nd - both wobbles and soars, likely due to sporting not two but four wings. Let’s not forget about OG Charles!
SMITE 2
This submission by BloodGodKhorne truly goes above and beyond! We expected a new Aladdin skin, but the accompanying slate of characters and lore - inspired by and crediting several notable authors - was a welcome surprise.
Just
This community podcast is a must listen for members new and old. This month Lanah Tyra and horrorandcats talk about games that made us cry, with member suggestions coming from FirestormGamingTeam, Hunter, Paul, SIRCAM, Braulio M Lara 🔹, AndyRice, and CommanderA9.
