Under The Sea: The Biome All Subnautica Players Want


Okay, let's be real. A goodly portion of current players came here from Subnautica. It is known. And with this engine, and insane graphics, etc, an underwater biome, or one with the option to do so has to be an eventuality. Fae sea monsters or critters we Earthlings saw as fairy tale cryptids showing up would be icing on the cake. Some realms are the mining realms, some better for lumber or creature hunting. And yes, fishing is a part of all of them but possibly the least dynamic part of the game. A realm where hunting and fishing for fairy water critters, like Kappas, is a natural progression, I feel.

This would be incredible. Not just simply a biome card, but the potential for all new types of gameplay. And the visuals underwater, if held to the same standards we enjoy for the rest of Nightingale, would be incredible!

Sky Castle

Step into a real of floating islands which are connected by wind currents. Just be careful that you get sent over to another floating island, or it will be a long umbrella ride down... if there is a down even... because as far as you can see, there's only clouds around you.

This is the realm of the pixies, who like to play mischief on their visitors. Don't believe anything you see and don't touch anything, no matter how tempting they are. A plant which looks to be rich in essence and ready for the taking might indeed be a slumbering pixie, who probably won't be very happy if you wake them up. Remember what I said about a long way down?

But the mischievous inhabitants love all things shiny, so if you bring them some treasures you have collected during your Realmwalker journey, they will gift you essences in return. Good luck to figure out what counts as treasure for a pixie.


A realm of (umbrella) jumping puzzles, riddles and other fun games with the local residents. Also a way to turn unwanted items into something useful, but there is a trick to it, as handing in some of them might give you less essence than simply breaking them down, some might bring you a fortune. There could be trickster minor cards paired with this one to change what items the pixies will find useful.

Major card: Mountains

Imagine Alpine biome, hight snowy peaks and shalow valleys, filled with flowers and grass like a summer carpet.

This a perfect place to build a base, down the valley or on the edge of the rock.

This card (and biome) offers cold - a reused from a regular biome night's mechanic. Cold halves your current health and reduce stamina regeneration.

To counter cold mechanic player needs to stay near source of fire, use fire tourch or craft new set or armor whoch provides a protection against cold.

Instead of rain, any minor card related to rain will produce snow or even blizzard.

The natural enemies are white bears, winter wolfs and ice owls. This a first biome which have a flying enemy, thus requires from players to unlock fireamrs.

The new Apex beast is Snow Wyrm, again, a flying type of monster with various ice attacks which slow players or even freeze them in place.

At that time I submitted a submission about thinking about a crazy new biome, right? and I answered about THE NEATHER BIOME / HELL BIOME !!

Well, this time I will give an overview of the Realm Card from NEATHER BIOME / HELL BIOME.

OK, so in the illustration the card will have what looks like 1 building that has been destroyed by the apocalypse on each left and right side. and in the middle there will be something like the old ruin castle which is still looking fine, which is very high.

and below the middle of the end of the illustration there will be a shadow person standing in the middle between the buildings.

The atmosphere on the realm card illustration is red, indicating that the place is dangerous

and in that's world or biome, you will be found high level creepy monsters, a lot of ruin puzzles, fobrided buildings, and high temperatures.

in that's world there is a high difficult level, but if you are lucky you will get some rare items of material to make new weapons or equipment.

if you want to go out on that's world you must find the lass boss and defeat him.

So there are Major realm cards and there are Biome cards right? So these can be both technically. My major card would be the 'Necro' card. But the bound already look like the undead right? hear me out. So as the current storyline is, Victor Frankenstein is tasked with studying The Bound, and Nellie Bly with studying the Automatons. In this realm Victor Frankenstein took Nellie B.'s research and applied it to the bound and started replacing the limbs, eventually replacing & augmenting more and more.

Eventually these abominations 'Necrotomatons' through perversion and corruption begin taking over the realm and spreading the corruption, eventually augmenting all lifeforms in the realm as well. These look like part bound and part Automatons but instead of their Gold appearances, corruption has made them into a dark/dull gold, rusted and tarnished. This once Astrolabe realm is now 'Necro Astrolabe' The skies are dark blueish all the time and the moon sort of blood red, all the buildings are partially in ruins partly demolished their metals rusted by corruption like its inhabitants. This is one of the hardest levels set on par with a Vault card at 100 points. Meant to be sort of an alternate universe situation.

Shadow Catacombs

A realm that is entirely underground and is a network of passages filled with wraiths, mutated humans and shadow creatures.

There are three kinds of enemies/NPCs that you can find, Wraiths are warriors that are cursed, some are recruitable while some are enemies. Mutated Humans (cryptids) are scavengers that adapted to the catacombs. The shadow creatures are mostly beings conjured by mages and necromancers.

Inside the catacombs you could find some rooms containing ancient cursed or blessed relics. There are many layers in the catacombs but easily traversable, it's just the enemies that are annoying to fight, so probably near endgame difficulty.

The biggest part of the game is construction. If you check the official Discord server and look at the media tab, you'll see a plethora of marvelous buildings created by the community. However, like in many similar games, grinding and fighting for resources might not be everyone's favorite activity. So, I present to you... the Opulent Major card!

This introduces a new biome, akin to plains or tundra, designed to create a flat world while still maintaining a natural look. There will be no enemies, essentially making it a level 0 realm.

In the annals of old, whispered legends speak of the whimsical lost fae realms, a place where anything is possible. Within these enchanted lands, the ordinary rules of reality are suspended, creating a cornucopia of endless possibilities and allowing creativity to flourish without bounds.

Key Features:

1. Free Construction Mode

  • Similar to Minecraft’s creative mode, you can place any decorations, augmentations, or construction sets without any cost.

  • To maintain game balance, you cannot place production or workshop stations, and upon destruction, you won't receive any materials back. Anything you create within Opulent realms stays there.

2. Increased Building Limits

  • With no points of interest or enemies, the construction cap per building is increased to 1500.

  • There is no cap on Z height, meaning with clever use of the increased limits, you can build your own Burj Khalifa.

In this realm, you can unleash your creativity without the hassle of resource grinding and enemy encounters!
