I think Switzerland might have a chance of going quite far in this tournament they should easily qualify in their group with their only real challenge being Germany after that if they manage to beat Germany they and finish top of their group they probably would have an easier group 16 game for them. but overall their from hasn't been to bad so I think they could be the dark horse of the tournament.

I will say a Hungary.

they possesd a weapons to cause more upset at EURO 2024, they will more than fancy their changeces of making it out of Group A, alongside German and living up to their dark horse tag

I've not seen Spain mentioned once as a team in the hunt for the silverware for this Euros, but writing them off wouldnt be sensible.

They have been thoroughly underwhelming in recent tournaments but they have some top players throughout their squad who can change the game in a moment.

Carvajal at the back will be an important leader for them with a wealth of club and international experience- a serial winner at club level!

The like of Rodri (who has had another fantastic season for City), Nico Williams and Pedri in the midfield highlights the quality they have on the ball going forward and will pose a threat to all defences.

In the final third theyve got Morata, Dani Olmo, Ferran Torres... there is a lot of attackign threat that shows Spain may haunt a lot of teams this tournament.

Will they win? Maybe its a tournament too soon for a lot of the younger players in the team and some may argue they aren't defensively as sound as they were 10 years ago. But this is tournament football and anything can happen in the knockout rounds!

Cant embed this for some reason but this is their squad for the Euros:

Who would've thought Joselu could go from Stoke City to winning the Champions League and being a contender for the Euros eh?

The world has gone mad! Imagine he scores a winner in this tournament. A meteoric rise from those cold, wet Tuesday nights at the Bet365! I still think he may be an imposter though...

hhhmmmm dark horse team?

Belgium

i think they have the potential to surprise everyone. Here’s why:

they got players like Romelu Lukaku, Kevin De Bruyne, and Thibaut Courtois. Even without their previous players, this current team remains solid.

they also had flawless qualifiers. Under coach Domenico Tedesco, they won eight out of ten qualifiers, scoring 22 goals and conceding just four.

see what happens

Believe it or not, Courtois isn't in the squad! They're taking Kaminski, Sels, and Casteels instead.

I think this competition is between just 4 teams, although you never really know. I think out of those 4 teams of England, France, Germany and Portugal. Portugal would be the least likely but could certainly cause a big upset based on their squad and Ronaldo's last tournament. Germany haven't been in the best of form over the last few years but with hosting the event it could see them in the final. Outside the 4, I think Hungary could be a team to look out for.

England! Not sure if it’s a dark horse but I think they were so so close last time and now with a bit of reshuffling maybe they’ve got it in the bag this year? Who knows! But even if they don’t win, I very much anticipate that they will make it to atleast the semis!

My vote goes to Ukraine, simply because I have many friends there and wish this team luck in this tournament.
