This can be about phones / cameras or your kitchen appliances, would love to hear what is your preference. Having one device which can do everything on an average level might be a good idea, saving money and space, having to upgrade less devices if it's a phone for example.
I used to have task specific devices, but tried to simplify things after moving to the UK and having less space and money. Recently (especially as I got into content creation again) I noticed that average doesn't work for some of the tasks I want to use my devices for. In my specific case it's about taking concert videos and photos. While my Moto g82 is fine for holiday photos, it just can't cope with what I most want to use it for so I'm debating to go back to Samsung, as I remember how good my S2 was back in the days but the price tag and having to swap it once it's not getting security updates anymore, it made me think would it be better to not use a phone for this but and actual camera? I used to love my phone for it as it fit in my pocket and was a lot easier to handle in the front rows, but lately I tend to go for seats or stand a bit further back and maybe for that a camera would be better.
What are your thoughts, what is better for long term, and average knows everything device or get the specialists for each task which matters for you?
