The AI features have been out a while now in the USA and just a few weeks in the UK.
Most of the AI features are totally useless and really feel rushed. The few good parts that are integrated into the OS though are:
when pressing the reader view button on a web page, you can press the big summarise button along the top of the story and get a really nice summary of the article to see if it’s worth reading. This is great for clickbait local news that is padded out to an entire ad filled story about not a lot (like when the bin days have been moved to).
In the email client and in WhatsApp notifications etc, you get a nice summary of the message chain/notifications you have missed in a couple of lines. This isn’t the most accurate though & comes up with some laugh out loud funny stuff on occasion, actually making it quite fun to have switched on!
Other than that, all the other features for me were a one time use, never to be loaded up again! Has anyone else been using it these last few weeks/months? You need an iPhone 15 pro or the 16 series for it to be included in your iOS.
