Really pleased to see this. I still think that if you could get past the bugs (a big 'if', admittedly, particularly if you were playing on last-gen machines) that even at release Cyberpunk was an absolutely brilliant game.

Agreed, I had a blast with it first time around. I've been playing Phantom Liberty over the last week or so for some freelance guides though and it is mightily impressive - the fact you can now spec fully into builds, such as a stealth hacker or an all-out brawler, is brilliant. Makes me wish I had the time for an all-new playthrough!

Glad to see a few others feel this way. Was sad and surprised to see the problems it had on older hardware and I can see why they came to define the narrative, but playing at release on a decent PC was a fantastic experience.

For those that gave up on the original and still have a partially complete save game. The free 2.0 patch notes say while it will work fine they recommend starting a new game from scratch.

"You can continue playing from existing saves, but in order to have the best experience of the extensive changes we made, we recommend starting a new playthrough. "

I played it early enough and just fought my way through the (unusually few) bugs I encountered, but I think a full replay with the update and new content is definitely on the cards!

Despite the issues it's just a world that I wanted to spend more time in, much like driving around GTA with the radio on or hiking the hills of Skyrim.
