Yes, I did stay up to watch the announcement at 1am last night from the Fan Fest in Tokyo. It started with the full trailer for Dawntrail:

The new melee job, Viper has been already revealed at the London Fan Fest in October, now we were graced by the caster job reveal. Pictomancer! Not my favourite choice (I was rooting for a Time Mage which we'll never get I'm afraid) but this job looks pretty cool regardless, and many people are already excited to play it. Here is the job introduction trailer:

The other highlight of the Keynote was the reveal of a new playable race, female Hrothgar. We already have male Hrothgar available since Shadowbringers, and the community has been very loud about wanting to play these beautiful, energetic lionesses as well. Now our prayers have been answered, and oh boy, aren't these ladies looking absolutely stunning?

We will get to explore new areas, and one of them took the community by surprise because it looks so different from everything we have seen before. I present you Solution 9:

How does this futuristic Tokyo-looking city fit into FFXIV? Who built it and why? Is it even on our world or are we going to another planet? Will find out this summer! We don't have an exact release date yet as they want to make sure the game will be ready for the time and don't have to delay the launch like they did with Endwalker. I completely agree with this decision, I'ld rather know the release that closer to the time but want to have the quality experience I'm used to with this game.

Other new content to come:

1. FFXIVxFFXVI crossover coming in April

2. "Life-style" content called Cosmic Exploration

3. New limited job, Beastmaster.

4. New Ultimate Raid based on the Eden raids from Shadowbringers

5. New Field Operations

Now this last one is the one I'm probably most excited about. We had Eureka and Bozja before, big open world areas, separate leveling system, special gear and skills to use inside, and a 48+ man raid at the end. We didn't get such content in Endwalker, and this is what I was missing the most in this expansion. Even made a video before Fan Fest to explain why I think this is a much needed content:
