I think it was only a couple of weeks ago that Palworld even came up on my radar - soundsing cool and crazy - but this stat is wild! Palworld is the 6th Steam game to reach 1M concurrent players and now holds the record for highest peak concurrents on a paid title.
I haven't gotten stuck in yet but has anyone tried it out?

yeah its fantastic, interesting to see the "inspiration" taken for the pals from Pokemon but the gameplay is a ton of fun and pretty addictive! Seems like a great mash up of minecraft, ark survival evolved, pokemon and fortnite! I think the peak concurrent is held by pubg or h1z1? they had crazy numbers back in the day? if palworld beats that its off to one heck of a start! Wonder if this means this game could be the new minecraft!?
Do you think it has the scope (or potential scope with future updates) to be the next Minecraft? That's a pretty tall order.
its definitely got the fun factor! (but is that just because its new im feeling like that, would it still be like this years later or would i feel burnt out with it like i do with fortnite, who knows!?) I guess the way it may fall down is the never ending creativity you can employ in Minecraft as you can just build literally whatever, where Palworld may get boring. Maybe updating new seasons with new batches of monsters like how Pokemon does could keep it fresh? im interested to see where it goes though and its off to a great start!
I've just purchased it today. I love survival and I love Pokemon. The Pokemon aspect is neither here nor there for me and for me the game will have to stand on its own merit and not just be a Poke-Rip-Off. I look forward to giving it a shot because a lot of people have really fallen in love with it!
