Destructoid used to be one of my main go-to sites, but alas, it seems as if the quality has gone down the tube in recent months.
Does anyone know as to what caused such a drop?
At the same time, who okayed the redesign? It looks absolutely awful.
Finally, what's a good alternative for what seems to be a failing (in quality) site?

Not sure what happened, as I never heard about it, but over 3 months it gained a +52% traffic increase. Seems they greatly improved their core web vitals and other stuff
Also, they running a pretty generic WP template, but webarchive for 2023 also shows Wordpress of some sort.
It's been a very long time since I been on that site. Last I checked they removed community blogs which I thought was one of the things that made them unique! Which era did you join on?
