Ra is the Egyptian Sun God, a long-range mage who does area damage, healing and zone control, a very safe choice for mid lane.

Skills:

Passive (Speed of Light): Ra gains increased movement speed for a few seconds after using any ability. Very useful for repositioning.

Skill 1 (Celestial Beam): A beam of light is fired in a straight line, dealing damage to all enemies hit. I really like using it to clear waves of minions and also to deal damage in a straight line in combat.

Ability 2 (Divine Light): Emits an aura around Ra that slows down enemies, applies blind and causes slowing stacks that accumulate. I find it useful for disorienting enemies in those more difficult fights and for group control.

Ability 3 (Solar Blessing): An area is created on the ground that heals allies and damages enemies. It's good to use this skill strategically in team fights.

Ultimate (Searing Pain): Fires a beam of light in a straight line that deals a lot of damage. Very good for finishing off enemies from afar.

It's important to know how to position yourself defensively and take advantage of the range of abilities, a very good part of playing with Ra. This way you can control important areas on the map and still provide support with healing and damage.

For the build, I recommend items such as Shoes of the Magi, which increases magical power and penetration; Book of Thooth, which greatly increases the mana reserve and increases power with the accumulation of stacks; Obsidian Shard, essential for magical penetration against tanks. Some situational items such as Mantle of Discord help with extra survival in tricky situations. The Blink Rune relic is also very useful for aggressive ultimate plays.

Some tips: Take advantage of the map view to predict your opponents' movements and hit the ultimate. Solar Blessing is welcome in both offensive and defensive play. Synergy with the team is always very useful, try to combine your healing with allies.

Ra is a character that for me is completely unbalanced in the game, it's a character that is in the meta and has extremely strong area damage and area healing even without a build focused on skill damage!

Obviously, he is a God with weaknesses, such as his lack of movement. Even if his passive improves this, it doesn't take away the problem of not being able to escape from characters like Odin and Fenrir, who are great counters. But even so, in 95% of cases, Ra will be a God that can define the game!

He's a god focused on the Mid Lane, but he works well in the Solo Lane too. He's a character focused on magic damage, area damage and area healing. A unique character for many people.

Now to talk about your skills:

  • Passive (Speed of Light): Whenever Ra uses a skill, it increases his movement speed for a few seconds (can stack up to 3 times - 15% maximum)

  • Ability 1 (Celestial Beam): It's a very good skill because it ignores any barriers such as minions and walls. In it, Ra launches a ray of sunlight from the sky that moves forward and deals magic damage. It's a great skill for pressuring the lane!

  • Ability 2 (Divine Light): Ra creates a circle around him that slows down the enemy until it explodes and deals damage. The good thing about this skill is that it has several extras. Ra's basic attacks become stronger and if an enemy is looking at Ra, the slowdown is increased and he is even blinded. It's a very good skill to start the skill combo and guarantee a kill!

  • Ability 3 (Solar Blessing): Anyone who doesn't love this skill is crazy hahaha. The skill not only creates a circular area that heals allies continuously and gives various buffs, but also damages enemies inside the area. Pretty cool, huh?

  • Ultimate (Searing Pain): At the end of the game, this is almost an insta-kill on characters with little stamina. The skill consists of unleashing a very strong beam in the direction in front of you. The skill's damage scales along with the enemy's maximum health.

Talking a bit about the build, I don't think there's much to it. Ra is a character who needs stamina and a lower cooldown. Of course, damage is important, but as his skills are already very strong, he doesn't need to use only damage items, okay?

I usually use these builds:

The first is a build that works best in the Mid lane, has a good damage distribution and reduced cooldown, as well as guaranteeing a certain amount of resistance for the character. The second build is more functional in the Solo lane, because you can see that almost all the items are to increase the character's resistance, and believe it or not, the damage is still very high!

I hope you find the guide useful!

Ra is the Egyptian god of the sun and was considered the main deity worshipped in his time, some twenty centuries ago. So we have a figure that is very representative of a millenary culture.

Now let's go to the Ra that we see in our beloved smite. He's an excellent mid, he does everything, area damage, healing and crowd control, simply everything you need to have an impact on the game.

Skills:

Passive - Speed of Light: After using any skill, Ra gains increased movement speed for a few seconds. This is excellent for engaging or disengaging while running away.

Skill 1 - Celestial Beam: Shoots a beam of light in a straight line, dealing damage to enemies hit.

Skill 2 - Divine Light: Everything around Ra is slowed down, accumulating stacks and blinding those who stare too long at the sun.

Ability 3 - Solar Blessing: Will create a circle on the ground that heals allies and damages enemies. (Reminds me a bit of nasus' E from Lol)

Ultimate - Searing Pain: It's your skill 1 with anabolic steroids haha, You fire a beam forward, causing a lot of damage.

Playstyle:

Position yourself defensively, make the most of your huge range, control the zones and always stay safe, remember that you heal and also cause damage, you are an important target for the other team, they will try to take you down.

Leveling and building I follow this one, I'll be crediting the mind behind it:

There's honestly so little to talk about when trying to teach Ra this one was a bit of a struggle, but I think I covered him pretty well!

Ra guide time some people don't realize certain things about Ra. Hopefully I can make them see that. :). (At the time of posting the video is currently processing but I'm in a rush today so I had to post while I still could.

I've played a few with Ra, I played more recently because of this Reward, but I find it simple and easy to use specially at the begging of the game since you will farm gold easily but you are a little vulnerable because of you low health even with a good build.

Ra has a nice range of its auto attack, and for some skills too, but you must have a good aim since you will be attacking from long distance, and the other attention that you must have is to be aware when you character get faster because its passive, Speed of Light, that will make you faster for a few seconds every time you use a skill!

Now the Celestial Beam will be the more useful skill for farming since it will create a beam of light that deal a real good damage and do this in a line of minions will help you to get gold faster but the enemy god will avoid it without much difficult, use wisely

The Divine Light for me is the worse skill for me, maybe it is more useful when I get better, but it will make you to go in direction of the enemy, it deals a nice damage but it won't stop the enemy to attack you while you waiting the attack to explode, since this attack will make an circle that will slow the enemy and will explode in the end.

The Solar Blessing, some time looks like more a skill for a support, since it will be very useful to heal your team, but it also deals damage in the enemies. It will create and and fix circle on the ground, the enemy inside will suffer some damage and the allies will heal.

You ultra Searing Pain, is like the Celestial Beam on steroids, and make a beam in the direction where you are aiming and will deal a good amount of damage and the best part is that one is hard to avoid since it will activate very fast, just practice your aim and will have no problems.

And how I said Ra has a great attack but some skill are a little hard to use, and some works so much well in team fight but this is a problem in the start and middle of the fame since this is a mid lane god, and you will be fight alone most of the time, so remember this before go with so much confidence with him in Conquest map!
