This story is set in 1920's New York and follows Detective Jacob Coleson as he tries to solves cases. Detective Coleson rose through the ranks of the NY police force until he became on their top detectives he is well respected in the police force.

A New Case - Detective Coleson has a new case but something isn't quite right can the detective figure out what happened in the murder.

Daylight Robbery - Detective Coleson is on the case of a bank robbery can he solve the case and find the culprits who stole the money.

Nightwatch - Detective Coleson has located the supposed bank robbers but something doesn't quite add up can the detective figure out what is going on during the night watch.

In Trouble - Detective Coleson's life is in danger can he escape the gang without any injury.

A Startling Discovery - Detective Coleson is on a new case trying to solve yet another murder when two more murders happen can the detective find the link between the murders.

To No End - Detective Coleson has figured out the links between the recent string of murders and the bank robbers but can he help put a stop to their crimes before they do further damage.

A Nun With a Gun

This graphic novel series will explore the secret side to the Catholic Church they don't want you to know about.

Hell is real alright, and the evil from within is kept at bay by the might of the devout Nuns of the church!

Meet Dilys. She's been a nun since the age of 22. She has climbed her way up the ranks to one of the most prolific hell slayers in the land through her 40 years at the Vatican.

Now the pope has a special assignment for her. She is to head to hell to fight the antichrist head on.

The debut run will help set the backstory of the secret side of the Catholic Church and illustrate how the Pope controls operations to help prevent a hellish doomsday.

As the series progresses, we will see Dilys' holy faith tested as she is left to fend for herself in the pits of hell, with nothing but a blessing from the pope daily to lift her soul and protect her from eternal damnation.

Expect gore, violence and a shit load of holy water. You will be right behind Dilys every step of the way in her journey to rid the world of evil.

One of my favourite series that featured super powers was Misfits. A UK drama of ASBO/ young offenders having to work community service obtaining powers and finding how to utilise them. It was a typical youth drama exploring sexuality, loneliness, bullying, etc. etc. but I loved how grounded the series was and how they'd use their powers in sometimes mundane ways.

I think that super hero comics focus a little too much on the fantastical whilst I enjoy seeing characters more in the everyday so it brings you closer to their character rather than the story.

Therefore my idea would be a fish out of water tale about a young woman (talent agent or recruiter) that starts to bump into meta-humans in the real world but they themselves either keep it hidden or are misdiagnosed with symptoms - so they find their powers a curse rather than superpower. Each issue can be a monster-of-the-week with our protagonist helping each person out conquer their power and issues
The powers can be:

• Someone can only see their own future and no-one elses so struggles with futility of life and not having choice

• Another is a pop star that is able to attract fame but only from those that he doesn't want to

• A doctor that can cure anyone but only by contracting the disease themselves and using their money to buy the insurance to cure themselves afterwards

So each 'power' sorta has a monkey paw effect and the protagonist is to use their humanity to try to help them. So its working on the theme of empathy and humanity that is bette than the power's they are given.

I think the cliff hanger or conclusion of the story is that the protagonist does discover she has a power to help others but she is unable to help herself and remains in her recruitment job.

Alex Sterling was a peaceful programmer who enjoyed creating and sharing cute knitted video game characters on Reddit. One day, she was shamefully attacked by online trolls for her posts, leaving her depressed and disheartened. One evening, she received a private message from an unknown user. As she opened it, the Nyan Cat appeared on her screen, playing its well-known music. Suddenly, the cat jumped out of her screen and started flying around her room, filling it with light and joy. Just as quickly, everything disappeared, leaving behind a cookie on her desk with a sticker that read, "Bite me." At first, Alex thought it was a trick, but in her desperation, she decided to take a bite. Mystical light began to emanate from all corners of the room, surrounding her with white wisps that gently formed a shiny white armor. She became a Meme Knight with a special task to eradicate online toxicity and foster a positive digital environment. Her goal is to protect users from cyberbullies, shut down harmful behavior, and spread joy through uplifting memes and constructive engagement.

Backstory

Maxwell Ledger grew up in a small town where he witnessed firsthand the inefficiencies and frustrations caused by bureaucratic red tape. Dubbing himself Ultra-Bureaucrat, Max set out to bring order and efficiency to a world plagued by laziness, crime, and corruption.
