Twitter's (now X) former CEO Jack Dorsey said they chose the name because they loved that it was defined as "a short burst of inconsequential information".
Well, for better or worse, the short burst is about to become much longer!
Users will soon be able to write X articles, longer-form tweets that could come with their own feed. This is part of X's move to become an everything app, but is it right for the platform?
Yesterday Sturmer pointed out the notable lack of platforms supporting long-form posts, and Dave was asking for feedback on running newsletters, so clearly everyone has long-form content on the brain!
Is adding long-form content a good move for X? Does this appeal to you as a creator, or would you rather have something like your own newsletter or website?
