Technically I’ve been on YouTube since 2011, lying dormant. I started my journey last year but after releasing a few videos I fell off the wagon. This month I made a commitment to myself that I’m going to peruse my dream and be more serious in creating content. I still ‘new’ as a content creator, I know the journey ahead is a long and challenging one but I’m ready! Bring it! This is my setup

Boomer not sure why it doesn’t show up as original on mobile 😅 it works fine on pc

Damn this is a throwback to when I started YouTube, but luckily enough I actually Vlogged it (or V-Log) as i randomly call it for some reason! lol so cringe looking back at these I would edit and film so differently, but hey thats a good thing I guess as you grow and develop your skills over time!

Oh this one for me is VINTAGE, if anyone remembers the days of Wifi when it first came out for gaming (Yes I am old). The first console I had in 2007 that could use wifi was the Nintendo DS. I lived in a world before Wifi, not many people can say that. The ability to trade and battle people in Pokemon diamond across the world for me was MINDBLOWING. I used to wake up at 3am everynight and constantly check if my GTS trades had gone through

I really got into the competitive battling scene and I don't even think my phone camera was more than 8mp and could even record the DS Screen. So I recorded the battle's in pokemon diamond I believe using the vs seeker or battle tower, there was 100% something that let you record and plan battles back, I put my laptop forward camera on and on the other side was a pile of books on the floor/keyboard which just about got the angle of the DS in the video's, and I pressed play on the battle recording and record on my laptop! Probably used unregistered hypercam 2 in there as well at some point

PokemonBattler123 was my youtube channel, I'm proud of the editing I did back then, those were the days

Even though I started my current content creation journey only a couple of years ago, my roots go back to about 18 years ago when I was still at uni and recorded Lineage 2 footage for our community forum. I had a ThinkPad X60 and used Fraps and Vegas Pro which was licensed by my uni.

Don't remember exactly what was my first setup here in the UK when I got back into content creation. I built the PC from used parts I bought or got gifted by friends, the most expensive part was an Nvidia GPU which cost about £50 in CEX (our local chain for second hand games and tech). Most of that had been upgraded now, the only pieces I still have from it is my Logitech C270 webcam (I used to use the mic from that for streaming and discord calls....)
