Hey fellow creators!
Anyone who runs their own site knows how tough it can be to get visibility, especially when it comes to search engines. One of the key pillars of trust and authority in the eyes of search algorithms is backlinks. Without them, no matter how solid your content is, you might find yourself stuck in limbo for months, or even years!
Unfortunately, most platforms and social media networks mark links as nofollow, meaning that even if someone cites your work as a valuable source, that trust doesn't get passed on to your domain.
So, I’m launching a little initiative: Let’s support each other’s visibility
Whether you run a blog, a niche news site, or even a listing-type project, we can all benefit from small, meaningful collaborations. It could be something as simple as adding a sentence with a link to your existing content. For example:
"I really enjoyed the game, but this guy had a totally different take. I appreciated their structured approach and solid arguments — it shows how each experience can be unique. You can read their review here if you’re curious about another angle."
It’s not just about helping someone else’s site. By referencing others, you actually elevate your own post too. It shows that you’ve done your research, that you’re engaging with the wider conversation, and offering your readers a broader view on the topic. This builds credibility for you and adds value to your content.
We can also explore guest posts, shared roundups, or other creative ways to collaborate. Most of us are already passionate about the same games, tech gear, and creative hobbies - so why not lift each other up?
