While we're sure no one was complaining about sweet baked goods being the first medium we chose for real-life recreations of your favourite critters, it probably wasn't the best choice when it comes to fidelity.
For this reward, we want you to recreate your favourite critter in real life, but you can use any medium or material you want - plasticine, clay, papier-mâché, anything you like.
Here are the rules:
Your model must be a three-dimensional, real-life recreation of any critter in Critter Café.
Make it as accurate as you can, using any material you want.
When you're happy, film a video or take a photograph or two, and submit it to this reward through connected social media. We’d love it if you tagged us and included #JustAbout!
The top prizes will go to the most accurate and detailed representations of the intended critter. We reserve the right not to award prizes to any submissions that don't meet a reasonable standard of quality (do not, please, send us a photo of a lump of clay).
This is a podium-finish reward which will only close and be judged on March 5, 2025.

Once the deadline closes, we’ll pick a first-, second-, and third-placed submission provided we receive submissions of sufficient quality, and award them $60, $50, and $30 respectively. We will also pick up to ten runner-up submissions and award them $10 apiece. We may share the winners as curated content, and will always credit your work if we do.

Here's Whiskerfluff! I made him with what crafting material I was able to find in my house, and he is all soft and fluffy too since I stuffed him with pillow stuffing! He was fun to make, and I especially like his little leafy hairdo and his big whiskers. 🍃

The black eyes from the 1x1 piece were too scary, so Mogbert went to sleep. Years—check. Tail—check. Hair and whiskers—present. I can build any vehicle, building, or device from LEGO, but creating animals… that was by far my toughest challenge yet!
