  1. Can we please expand the 'report bot' function to include a text field so we can say why we're reporting someone as a bot? The term 'bot' covers so many different situations. It would be helpful to add context to the report.

  2. What do you believe is behind the Eve Gate?

  3. Can you please commit to always - even in the face of extreme pressure from both players and those within CCP - always, always promise to keep cat ears out of New Eden?

It's probably not the best medium to request in-game changes like #1, but I think we can make an exception for #3 😛

I personally wonder how much rage there would be if we do get 'Cat Ears'. There was a small uproar about the Dr. Who crossover.

"EVE Online is 10 games in a Trench Coat" What other games/concepts would you like to be a part of EVE Online by the 30 year anniversary?

Are there any plans involving NPC Null-sec? In the past events like The hunt and the Guardan's Gala represented an income in PVP content and ISK but now that those did not happen this year, can we NPC Null dwellers expect anything in the near future?

With EVE drops being implemented into Twitch, what sort of rewards can viewers/players expect to be handed out? Will these be only accessible through Twitch? Will these rewards be time-sensitive (only available during certain events) or can we expect these rewards to 'cycle through'?

What have the biggest positive and negative impacts of Siege Green has been on EVE, and what is something about Siege Green you wish CCP would have done differently?

How is your feeling about the current state of TiDi? Did you consider new technologie like kubernetes could help to make EVE easier scaleable?

  1. In exact opposition to MacGybo , would you consider adding additional paid cosmetics to the game to increase the cashflow of EVE Online? Such items could be the widely talked about cat ears, a hook hand (I gotta shoot my shot), funny hats, etc. I believe that there is a market for such products.

  1. Given the growing popularity of Esports, the projected growth of its market to over $1b in revenue by 2025, and the unique niche that EVE Online occupies that no other game can successfully imitate, would you consider increasing support for competitive play outside of the Alliance Tournament and promoting competitive play of EVE Online at the collegiate level?

  2. Walking in stations when?

  1. No

  2. I like this idea. 1v1 Esports. Different tiers for frigates, destroyers etc. Kinda like proving grounds but televised. Maybe the proving grounds could be the qualifying rounds?

I have close relations with a Director of a large college here in the US. He oversees their Esports programs across all campuses and is willing to work with CCP Games by providing much needed feedback and perspective.

Esports is something that I am passionate about and I feel that CCP Games could benefit immensly by becoming involved in it on a wider scale. Teams playing in colleges accross the world will be a huge amount of advertising. I envision tens of thousands being captivated by the game the way I was when I first encountered EVE.

TQ EVE is not a spectator sport - it has far too many layers, even when situated in just 1 system.

That said - 100% agree AT environment is the place for esports in EVE. I really like MacGybo concept about PG being a qualifiying route to enter a larger tournament scene.

Brother Grimoire's avatar

I'm totally about that as well. Automating it by taking advantage of PG code could pave the way for not only easier access to a competitive scene, but for other features that we see in other games that facilitate competitive play?

Other than the obvious and usual concerns when asking CCP for anything, what's to stop us from implementing things such as a ranking system based on the event that you're competing in, exclusive "season" rewards based on placement to encourage participation, and the potential for play at much higher levels, such as the AT, for competitive teams.

The AT could be more than the event that we already have. Imagine an EVEnt where there are competitions for solo fights, 3v3, 5v5, and then 10v10, with prizes and clout awarded accordingly.

The dream is for the EVE Online competitive scene to become a self-sustaining ecosystem that drives new players into the game and ushers in a new era of EVE. The fact of the matter is this game has existed for 20 years and it NEEDS new traffic to not only survive, but thrive. The statistics don't lie. The concurrent playercount is significantly less than it was 10 years ago and the overall trend of concurrent players doesn't paint a positive picture.

Understandably, this doesn't all happen overnight. Every journey starts with a single step, and I believe that to not take that step would be doing all the players dedicated to this game a disservice

Sorry, I started writing a manifesto for a second

  1. Will CCP ever sell 3D ship models (directly or through third parties) again?

  2. If you were to review the first 20 years - what 5 words would you use to describe the journey?

  3. Have there been any moments in the last 20 years that you wished had gone differently?

  4. PVP or PVE?

  5. What is local? - a chat channel or intelligence tool?
