For obvious reasons, having a companion alongside at all times is really useful, they're excellent in combat and combat can kind of happen at any time, but if we're not fighting and I am not sprinting off in a direction my companion just chops down all the trees! They do a good job and fill up the campfire/smelter etc with fuel so I wouldn't mind too much but trees appear to be a finite resource and the trunks that get left behind are an eyesore and bit of a nightmare to get rid of.
Has anyone figured out how to get your companions to just chill? Or undertake a specifc task?
