The pinnacle of the cycling calendar begins on 29 June and runs all the way until 21 July, so to help build hype for this incredible test of human endurance, we want you to put yourselves in the shoes of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). That is to say, tell us the location and route for a brand new cycling Grand Tour!

You can use any illustration tool you like, though we'd recommend this map annotator, to plot your route. Consider the different stages of the tournament, how long your tour will last for, and the scenic routes the riders should take that also incorporates different types of terrain and difficulty. Be sure to tell us why it would make a great tour. You don't need to be a cycling expert for this bounty though, as long as you can justify your route, you're golden.
