Credit to Dave for this idea in our Just About Tech suggest-a-bounty bounty a while back. We'll let him take it away:
Make a funny spoof advert for a totally impractical and useless new technology item, but sell it like it's the best thing ever invented. List, show, or demonstrate all the "super useful" features it has, when really they're rubbish.
Submissions must come in the form of image mock-ups, alongside any additional context in text. However, bear in mind that all required info should be on the image itself; treat it like a poster or brochure. Dave has stipulated that AI-generated submissions are allowed for this bounty too, but we will strongly favour original creations for awards, and if you use AI, you must disclose this in your submission. We reserve the right to reject submissions we suspect are AI that have not been disclosed.
The best advert for the most useless tech will win $10, with $7 going to second place, $5 to third, and $3 to seven remaining entries that meet all the criteria. Don't forget to verify your images on social media!
Pot total
$43
