We are going to have another cellphone CPU again?
My partner and I just bought a Steam Deck but there's always room for more handhelds!
...I should probably wait to see the price first😆
Thing is I would love to play Zelda, but apart from that I'm not aware of any other games which I would like to play and are Steam exclusive. I do have a lot of PS games though which I haven't finished and might play them more often if I was not tied to my sofa at home.
I think the only thing on Switch I ever actually frowned that I couldn’t play was Metroid Dread. Looked like a real treat since Metroid Fusion was my favorite.
I haven’t had a Nintendo console since GameCube which to be fair I loved. Still my fav controller design of all time. They’ve just gotten weirder/less supportive of third party since.
P.S. there is a Steam Deck app that lets you remote play your PS5. That’s how I beat almost all of Aliens: Dark Descent
Going OT but the big problem for the Steam Deck/valve is the lack of support for the most popular games & therefore the mass market, due to anti cheat or other linux/wine incompatibility. Until they sort this out it will never be a mass market device like the switch/2 can be. Doesn't work with Fortnite, Roblox, Minecraft, EA FC, COD, GTA Online & more. Vast majority of the games market player time gone.
Great for the more enthusiast niche users though like probably most people on here.
My deck recently found new life as the quintessential Soulsborne grinding machine lol. Whenever I’ve got a Fromsoft/souls like in progress, I do tedious grinding while watching tv or lying in bed rather than slumped at my desk
Probably another 6 months or more out from release by the look of it.
Pretty meh tbh
Honestly kinda surprised it doesn’t have two screens, three analog sticks and a breathalyzer that can detect what you ate for your last meal. You know, classic Nintendo innovation
So hyped for this , thanks for sharing
