I have been thinking a lot about what’s been going on recently with PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo and it got me wondering… Nintendo appears to be against mass firings, interested in maintaining physical copies of games AND is not diving headfirst into AI unlike all others.
I have owned a few Nintendo consoles and always have enjoyed their games, but their values line up with what I would like to see from a platform that I invest into with my purchases.
I don't care about hype or what's popular as I’ve recently been playing more and more older games (and even get a buzz from some retro gaming collecting) but I very much care about the things I mentioned above & I want my money to go to a company that shares these values and helps build this future for the gaming industry.
Do you agree with Nintendo’s values in the gaming industry and is this stuff important to you?
Ps I know they are not perfect and no company is but these things stood out as important to me! Would love to know all your thoughts 😀
