The original Elite was mind-bendingly ahead of its time in 1984, and Elite Dangerous shares its awesome ambition, unleashing spaceship commanders into a 1:1 scale version of the Milky Way to do whatever they want.
That’s how you get near-endless community discovery and sharing. What’s the best planet you’ve found for mining osmium? What’s the best ship for attacking people hauling osmium? Do you enjoy this meme I made about the lifestyle benefits of osmium piracy?
And it’s not just osmium - we’ve immersed ourselves in the Elite Dangerous community wherever it exists, and transmogrified its wit, wisdom, and wackiness into bounties to unite and delight Elite players when they come to Just About. The difference is that we’ll put the rewards they deserve behind the activities they love, eliciting more great content per member than anywhere else.

Naturally, we’re keeping a very close eye on how it’s all going down among the Commanders that have joined us, and will use our suggest-a-bounty bounties to ensure their voices are represented as we build their new online home alongside them.
With official support from Frontier, not only in funding our bounties but in recommending our community to their players through official channels, this is the most exciting community launch on Just About since EVE.
