Bank transfer would be really great and would help with conversion fees as a lot of card like Revolut and such have a much better exchange rate.

Donate to charity is always a nice option!

Use the earnings to fund bounties would be amazing when we get to make our own communities. For example a big creator completes bounties in various partnered communities, and then they can run their own bounties relevant for their community in their own community area. Would be a nice new form of engagement for our communties, as at the moment the only thing we can do to reward our followers for their support is like giveaways on stream. But this could be constructive for us as well. I'm nowhere near big enough as a creator yet, but I could imagine bounties like what should I make a guide on next? Or give me a challenge run idea and I'll complete them on stream.

Speaking as a currently unemployed creative type person JustAbout is part of my monthly earnings so I'm happy with PayPal or even moving to a more direct bank transfer option. As much as I'd welcome the more charitable options, right now I have to be more pragmatic.

I agree, paypal or bank transfer would be my preferred option currently as well since this is my only small creator income, I'm happy with every cent I get and it goes straight into funding the stuff I need to make content.

The charitable options are nice for those who is in a position to afford them tho

PayPal has worked perfectly as the transfer method of choice. I believe that keeping it is the easiest alternative, so don't mess with what's working.

Bank transfer is also a great option. Having a part of the income directed to donations is also very nice!

I thought the options were very cool, and I think it's feasible to bring in potions in the future (for example, when receiving payment, asking "do you want to transfer some money for donation?"). Congratulations on your initiative!

Hello

Direct bank transfer would be better, but PayPal is also fine :)

When you say use to fund bounties, do you mean just giving back to the platform? Or like, making our own bounties as a kind of partnership? Like, “clip your favorite Horror and Cats moment” just as an example?

Exactly, creating your own bounties for other people to do.

Let’s say someone put a bounty up asking for people to come up with a new social media trend and in effect pays for this content to be made. Will the bounty creator also get a non exclusive royalty free license to use the bounty entry content or will it just be JustAbout?

If it’s only JustAbout it seems a bit wierd that I would be paying for it. But then you’re starting to morph into a fiverr type platform if the bounty setter gets rights to the entries.

never trusted paypal, have lost money there many years ago, and to this day i still get regular money requests from randoms that i've never met or have never traded with, i never leave money on paypal, requests from big business appear to be automatically approved, eg, i cancelled my xbox subscription, which i had payed once years before with paypal, but even though i had cancelled my subscription, microsoft went to paypal and my paypal went into arrears? with no valid current authorisation? no thanks, it's a necessary evil to me atm, that's all.

Paypal works perfectly for me!

  1. bitcoin is too expensive TX. I'd recommend USDT on TRC20 and similar networks as the fee is only ~$0.1-0.3.

  2. bank transfers will take too much support from you to provide documents to meet modern compliance

Paypal sadly has an abysmal conversion rate, for all who are UK/EU based and do not have a USD bank account for direct transfers.

I'd say the ideal combo is crypto + Paypal + Use them for your own bounties.

Paypal works perfectly.

PayPal is the best way at the moment ,for the bank transfer yes as others said could be good as a second option.

for just about user bounties it could be a nice addition, I think it will increase the communities drastically.

Well... I think a bank transfer is more convenient, as PayPal had issues in September and their customer support was really terrible. They didn’t help me, and I felt completely lost there. I also noticed that transfers to certain banks come with a £2.99 fee, which really didn’t make me happy. I believe having a bank transfer option would be much better!
