They say never meet your heroes, and while that can sometimes be true, other times it can be a fulfilling experience as they turn out to be lovely human beings. No matter how your encounter went, we want to hear about the time you met a famous sportsperson!
Any sport and any level of fame is valid here, although you can't just choose your mate who plays for a Sunday league football team when you met them at the pub last weekend. Tell us about the encounter in at least 50 words of original writing or video to win a prize!
Note: If you've never met a famous sportsperson, we'll accept a retelling of a time your family member or friend met one. However, if we receive more entries than rewards, we'll favour first-person stories for the prizes.
