Organised by Geoff Keighley, Opening Night Live has become a Gamescom tradition, and its focal point for new game announcements. Geoff has brought many celebrity guests to help out over the years, but we reckon he can push the boat further. Past shows at E3 (RIP) and elsewhere have produced timeless 'moments' like Keanu "you're breathtaking" Reeves promoting Cyberpunk 2077, The Rock and Bill Gates's toe-curling teamup as they announced the Xbox, and Devolver's bizarre nosebleeding piss-take of the whole concept at E3 2017 to name but a few.
To the point: suggest a celebrity guest, a stage stunt, or both that would really stamp ONL 2024 in our collective memory. Your suggestions can be sensible and thoughtful, outrageous and unrealistic, or tap into that cringe-inducing desperate energy that so many major video game execs seem to enjoy!
